Visualizing Mechanical Ventilation


Respiratory Therapists are important for the safe monitoring of mechanically ventilated patients. Applying imaging techniques such as electrical impedance tomography (EIT) and ultrasound to mechanically ventilated patients is gaining popularity in the literature. This lecture will discuss these techniques and where Respiratory Therapists play a key role. This presentation was previously released as part of the 2019 AARC Current Topic educational series.
