From Classroom to Bedside: Supporting Success Through Respiratory Residencies

Respiratory therapy residency programs are designed to support newly licensed RTs as they transition from the classroom to independent clinical practice. By combining structured education, mentorship, and hands-on experiences, residencies strengthen critical thinking, clinical judgement, and professional confidence. This session will highlight the challenges new graduates face, the strategies residencies use to foster growth, and the benefits these programs bring to RTs, healthcare teams, and patient outcomes.

Approved for 1.00 CRCE Hours.
